Hi, I'm Dakari.
I’m from Montgomery, Alabama, and I’ve always had a curiosity for the ways and the why's behind the things people connect to. That curiosity (and the Jamie Foxx Show) pushed me into marketing, and eventually into a B.S. in Marketing, an M.S. in Digital & Social Media Marketing from the University of Alabama, and a career built on understanding how people think and how culture moves.
I’m a social-minded creative who loves brand personality, consumer behavior, and finding the little angles that make something feel genuinely entertaining or relatable enough to share with your friends. I’ve worked with brands of all sizes, from early-stage ideas to national names with massive audiences, but I’ve kept a soft spot for working with individuals and small businesses in need of help creating marketing campaigns, building a social strategy, or legitimizing their brand with a well-designed website.
I believe great marketing should feel human, clever, and stay with you afterwards. I’m all about work that makes someone laugh, feel understood, or pause their scroll for a moment. That’s the good stuff. That’s masterful marketing. Whether it’s shaping a strategy, building a brand personality, or helping someone finally put their thoughts into words, that’s where I’m in my zone.
